Since 1986, northern Uganda has been devastated by the rebel insurgency of the Lords Resistance Army. Real name, Lilian Mirembe Kyeyune Buttle, has performed alongside international stars such as Buju Banton, Shabba Ranks, and Shaggy whilst in Uganda as well as African Zouk star, Oliver Ngoma, and South African Yvonne Chakachaka. Now based in the UK, Lilian continues her musical career working with Pamela Maynard and Peter Miles. Recently released singles include: Musonso, Tondeka, and Nyweza nze.
